Our Ethos

x2 art holidays and courses are unique, drawing on the enjoyment of the whole experience: location, time to reflect on art, to share the creative process, to experiment, and inspire individuals to develop their own art in a relaxed environment.

Two artists-tutors offer their support and experience, allowing exploration within the creative practice. The focus is placed on artistic development, rather than creating "instant art".

X2 understands that artists need healthy delicious sustenance, so we source food and wine locally and in season. Coffee and tea breaks offer homemade cakes and biscuits, or local specialty items. Drinks and canapés are provided at the end of each day, which is a perfect time to reflect on the day’s work, discuss your individual development and

the next day’s schedule. This is followed by supper. Some meals are taken in local restaurants and this is indicated on each individual brochure.
